Prejelin Naggan is an investment and corporate advisory executive with over 20 years of experience spanning investment management, corporate finance, capital markets and strategic advisory. A qualified attorney and investment banker, Prejelin has executed high-value transactions, raising capital and leading cross-sector growth initiatives.
He currently operates as an independent consultant and investor, having launched ventures across financial services, legal/administrative services and healthcare while offering governance oversight and strategic input to portfolio companies. As Co-Founder and CEO of Khanda Capital (2018–2022), he led M&A and capital-raising mandates, including prominent deals in mining, energy and logistics. Prior to this, he headed Primary Markets at the JSE, where he spearheaded new listings and finance innovations.
Prejelin held various leadership roles at J.P. Morgan, advising on multi-billion-rand cross-border deals across Sub-Saharan Africa. His early legal career at Java Capital and Werksmans included advising on ECM, M&A and regulatory matters. A strategic thinker with a hands-on approach, Prejelin combines technical knowledge with leadership and deal-making capabilities, making him a trusted advisor to executives, boards and institutional investors.
He holds an LLB and LLM from the University of the Witwatersrand and a Management Development Certificate from the Da Vinci Institute.
